What a wild year! As we near the end of 2022 and the first full year operating as the Nadeau + Reid Team these past 12 months could not have been more interesting, exciting and stressful.
Back in January the flood gates opened and the buyers were fighting tooth and nail to try and achieve the end goal of buying a home. For months this kept up at a pace unmatched by any other year. It was downright scary and obviously a massive intervention was the only way for this to slow down. With numerous lending rate increases things finally started to cool, but unfortunately for sellers it went the opposite way. We are now in a quieter market, one that is trying to balance out but has left both buyer and sellers alike with a lot of uncertainty. The outlook for 2023 is looking favourable with rate increases slowing and things returning to a more calm and balanced state.
Through all this, our little team has been working hard to try and keep the stress levels at bay while still getting to the end goal for both buyer and seller. Fortunately we found our rhythm and last week the Royal LePage National Chairman’s list was announced. This list is based on the top 1% of all 20,000 Royal LePage Realtors across the country. We couldn’t be more excited and honoured to say that we finished 61st in the country for number of homes sold and #1 at Royal LePage Triland.
Without the tremendous support of our incredible clients, referral sources, our loving and supporting family members as well as the fantastic individuals that assist us be🍻hind the scenes there would be no way we could have pulled this off. We are so fortunate to know each and every one of you.
